Amanda Van Soelen, CFP®

Financial Planner

Amanda is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, mutual funds representative, and licensed life insurance agent with over a decade of experience. She is also a proud member of the Institute of Advanced Financial Planners and the Financial Planning Association of Canada.

Her journey into the industry began with a leap of faith. After ten years running a successful millwright business with her husband, Amanda transitioned into financial services in 2013. Although she had long been interested in personal finance, it was in practice that she truly discovered the impact of accessible, values-based planning. Today, she is co-owner of LuminWay Financial.

Known for her approachable, inclusive nature, Amanda excels at making complex topics easy to understand. She loves hearing people’s stories, understanding what matters most, and mapping out a clear, achievable path forward. Solution-driven rather than sales-driven, she focuses on building trust and empowering clients to make confident, informed decisions.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys kayaking and boating at the cottage. Married for 27 years, she and her husband Luke have two young adult children.

Jessica Holvik, CFP®

Jessica is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, licensed insurance provider, and Master Financial Advisor in Philanthropy with over a decade of experience. She began her career in 2012 in an administrative role, earned her securities license in 2015, and achieved her CFP designation in 2019.

Her calm, approachable nature and strong analytical skills make her a trusted guide for clients seeking clarity and direction. Jessica excels in detailed financial planning and investment strategy, with a special focus on philanthropic planning.

Her background in science and education fuels her love of research, analysis, and teaching, breaking down complex financial concepts so clients can make confident, informed decisions. She believes money should serve a greater purpose, aligning with each client’s goals, values, and vision for their life.

Jessica lives in Guelph with her husband, her teenage sweetheart, and they are proud parents of two grown sons. Outside of work, she enjoys backcountry camping, canoe tripping, and rock climbing. She also serves on the board of her local Youth Unlimited chapter, contributing to a cause that has had a lasting impact on her own life.

Kim Coelho

Client Relationship Manager

Kim joined the team in 2021 as an Administrative Assistant and has since transitioned into the role of Client Relationship Manager for Jessica’s team. With many years of client management experience and a well-rounded business background, Kim brings both depth and versatility to the client experience.

Known for her outgoing personality, Kim genuinely enjoys building connections with clients and is naturally attuned to their needs. Her strengths in communication, issue resolution and relationship building make her a steady, supportive presence for clients and the team. Kim is your primary point of contact for scheduling meetings and handling meeting requests and she is often the friendly voice you’ll hear when calling our office. If she is unable to assist directly, she will ensure you are connected with the right person or resource.

Outside of work, Kim lives in Orangeville with her family and is actively involved in her community, including serving as an Executive member of the Orangeville Optimist Service Club.

Aga Svitek

Office Manager

Aga holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Linguistics with a focus on Educational Science and Psychology. She began her career in language education before transitioning into client service and operations, spending six years as an Administrative Assistant and Office Manager at a translation company.

For Aga, it’s all about making life easier for others. She believes that helping people take control of their finances contributes directly to their happiness and quality of life. Known for her keen attention to detail, technical savvy, and outstanding people skills, plus fluency in multiple languages, Aga is our go-to for thoughtful problem-solving and ensuring the office runs smoothly. Her dedication to continuous growth and improvement shines through in every client interaction, as does her genuine care for the people she serves.

Outside the office, Aga enjoys hiking, camping, and cooking. Her creative side comes alive in art projects, while her green thumb keeps her garden thriving. Whether in the office or at home, she approaches everything she does with purpose, positivity, and a focus on making things better for those around her.

Allison Leacy

Administrative Assistant

Allison brings over a decade of experience in the financial industry, including time as a Team Lead, along with a client-first mindset that shapes every interaction. She embraced the opportunity to move into a more client-facing role, applying her skills to help people achieve their financial goals.

Known for her thoroughness, approachability, and the smile that lights up every room, Allison finds great satisfaction in helping clients feel financially secure. She is always looking for ways to improve and simplify the client experience. Her ability to learn quickly and her eagerness to grow make her a valued resource for both clients and colleagues.

Outside the office, Allison enjoys time with her partner and family. In the summer, she can be found hiking or tending to her garden, while winter calls for a good book and a cozy blanket. No matter the season, her warmth and dedication shine through in everything she does.

Danielle Fleming

Administrative Assistant

Danielle joined the team in 2025, bringing a background shaped by both design training and skilled trades. Her education and apprenticeship experience built a strong work ethic and an eye for precision, making her a fit for a role where details and follow-through matter.

Danielle supports clients with account management and administrative needs, including processing account updates, handling documents and assisting with trade-related requests. She enjoys helping clients who have questions or feel unsure and takes pride in making them feel supported and never rushed.

Outside of work, Danielle lives in Guelph and enjoys singing, creative hobbies and getting outdoors for hiking, biking and camping. She also volunteers in her community and values opportunities to encourage and support others.

James Parish

Financial Planning Associate

James joined LuminWay Financial in December 2025, bringing a strong background in income and tax planning. He has worked in wealth management since 2017. He holds an accounting degree from Conestoga College and is working toward his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation.

His work focuses on connecting the details of a client’s financial situation with the decisions that matter to them. For those approaching retirement, this means exploring how their savings can provide income in the years ahead. For those with charitable priorities, it means considering how giving can fit within their broader financial plan.

A thoughtful listener with a careful, organized approach, James works alongside the advisors to research solutions, contribute to recommendations and carry plans through to implementation. He believes clients should understand the reasoning behind their financial decisions and be able to count on the team to follow through.

James lives in Elmira, Ontario, with his wife and their four children. Outside of work, he enjoys road cycling, coaching soccer and supporting his children’s homeschooling. He also serves as a Sunday school teacher.

Dante Kelly

Administrative Assistant

Dante joined LuminWay Financial in May 2026, bringing a background in scientific research involving telecommunications signals and Mars rover data analysis. His research experience strengthened his problem-solving skills and he enjoys getting to know people and understanding what matters to them.

Outside the office, Dante enjoys rock climbing, biking and playing on the Kitchener regional ultimate frisbee team. He lives in Guelph, Ontario, where he enjoys spending time with his family. He also stays involved in the community by preparing meals for people experiencing food insecurity and volunteering at children’s camps.
