Jessica Holvik, CFP®
Financial Planning Advisor
Jessica is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, licensed insurance provider, and Master Financial Advisor in Philanthropy with over a decade of experience. She began her career in 2012 in an administrative role, earned her securities license in 2015, and achieved her CFP designation in 2019.
Her calm, approachable nature and strong analytical skills make her a trusted guide for clients seeking clarity and direction. Jessica excels in detailed financial planning and investment strategy, with a special focus on philanthropic planning.
Her background in science and education fuels her love of research, analysis, and teaching, breaking down complex financial concepts so clients can make confident, informed decisions. She believes money should serve a greater purpose, aligning with each client’s goals, values, and vision for their life.
Jessica lives in Guelph with her husband, her teenage sweetheart, and they are proud parents of two grown sons. Outside of work, she enjoys backcountry camping, canoe tripping, and rock climbing. She also serves on the board of her local Youth Unlimited chapter, contributing to a cause that has had a lasting impact on her own life.

Amanda Van Soelen, CFP®
Financial Planning Advisor
Amanda is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, mutual funds representative, and licensed life insurance agent with over a decade of experience. She is also a proud member of the Institute of Advanced Financial Planners and the Financial Planning Association of Canada.
Her journey into the industry began with a leap of faith. After ten years running a successful millwright business with her husband, Amanda transitioned into financial services in 2013. Although she had long been interested in personal finance, it was in practice that she truly discovered the impact of accessible, values-based planning. Today, she is part owner of LuminWay Financial.
Known for her approachable, inclusive nature, Amanda excels at making complex topics easy to understand. She loves hearing people’s stories, understanding what matters most, and mapping out a clear, achievable path forward. Solution-driven rather than sales-driven, she focuses on building trust and empowering clients to make confident, informed decisions.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys kayaking and boating at the cottage. Married for 27 years, she and her husband Luke have two young adult children.

Wealth Advisor
Melanie is a financial advisor with over 25 years in the financial industry, including a decade in financial planning. She began her career in auto industry finance before transitioning into wealth management, where she found her passion for building relationships and helping people make confident, informed decisions about their future.
Known for her genuine, approachable style, Melanie has a gift for making complex topics easy to understand. She works closely with small business owners, growing families, and those planning for retirement, providing guidance through each stage of their financial journey.
Her strengths in risk management and estate planning help clients protect what matters most while positioning them for long-term security. Melanie also enjoys sharing her expertise through public speaking and seminars, empowering audiences with practical strategies they can use right away. She values trust above all else and is committed to earning it every day through integrity, diligence, and advice tailored to each client’s unique needs.
A resident of Fergus, Melanie volunteers with women in crisis, offering encouragement during life’s most challenging moments. She shares her life with her partner and their daughter, and enjoys camping, hiking, travelling, and exploring antiques and anything with a rich history.

Client Liaison
Jane is our Client Liaison. She worked with Chris from 2002-2008, and then re-joined the office in August 2016. While Chris and Jessica are busy meeting clients and working on their financial plans, Jane is using her incredible organizational skills to stay on top of all of the many activities we have going on in our busy office, and ensuring all our clients are being looked after.
As liaison, Jane makes sure you always have the information and service that you need from us, and that you are staying up to date with your financial plan. She arranges appointments and manages Chris and Jessica's schedules. She is a great information resource for clients, and is always happy to answer questions and make sure you get what you need from us.
Jane is a strategic member of our team, and our clients have come to appreciate her diligent work ethic, friendly telephone manner, and dedication to providing first class service. She works hard to ensure that you receive the highest level of care.

Administrative Assistant
Kim is our Administrative Assistant. She has an extensive business background, specifically in customer service, client management and quality assurance. She has a keen eye for detail, a natural sensitivity to the needs of our clients, and is a friendly voice on the phone. We are thrilled to have her on the team.
Kim is accountable for general office administration and phone reception. She prepares documents and gathers the information that Chris and Jessica need to be ready for your meetings, and also completes meeting followup activities such as sending paperwork, documents, and information to clients. She also handles ongoing client account administration and trade processing and will ensure your information is kept up to date.

Aga Svitek
Office Manager
Aga holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Linguistics with a focus on Educational Science and Psychology. She began her career in language education before transitioning into client service and operations, spending six years as an Administrative Assistant and Office Manager at a translation company.
For Aga, it’s all about making life easier for others. She believes that helping people take control of their finances contributes directly to their happiness and quality of life. Known for her keen attention to detail, technical savvy, and outstanding people skills, plus fluency in multiple languages, Aga is our go-to for thoughtful problem-solving and ensuring the office runs smoothly.
Her dedication to continuous growth and improvement shines through in every client interaction, as does her genuine care for the people she serves.
Outside the office, Aga enjoys hiking, camping, and cooking. Her creative side comes alive in art projects, while her green thumb keeps her garden thriving.
